Even if you are already familiar with the city, that special feeling of visiting Venice comes back to you each time. If you don’t have a lot of time on your hands, we advise you to take a walk around the city or take a public boat which, traveling along the entire Grand Canal, you can admire the most famous buildings.
If you wish, you can get off in the splendid Saint Mark’s Square where you can relax in the open air in one of the many bars, maybe after a visit to the Palazzo Ducale and Saint Mark’s Basilica. Art enthusiasts can visit the many churches, masterpieces of Gothic, Renaissance or Baroque art such as the basilicas of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari and di San Giovanni e Paolo, as well as those of San Zaccaria, la Madonna della Salute, i Carmini, la Madonna dell Orto, etc.
If you have some spare time, we advise you to visit the beautiful islands of the lagoon, among them age-old Torcello, as well as Murano, famous for its glass or the characteristically colorful Burano.
